Welcome to Café “Open door”!

On Wednesdays Vapnagård Library turns into an information- and homework café for young people and adults, from 15 years and up. Children are welcome accompanied by adults.

The café gives special service to ethnic minorities in whichever situation reading and writing Danish language may be a problem.

We support their homework, which they are welcome to do in the library, and offer exercise in conversation for those, who just want to improve their Danish.

We translate official letters and documents and produce information about everyday rules, regulations, rights and obligations.

We offer help to look for jobs on the Internet, write applications and prepare jobinterviews.

But the café is also open to anyone, who just want to settle down for a while, read papers or magazines, use Internet and e-mail, borrow or reserve books, music, videos, while the children are
reading and playing.
Coffee, tea, cakes and fruit are offered.
