You can borrow most materials for 31 days - but

for the sake of the size of the collections and the demand, the following limitations are necessary:

Lending period

Normally, the lending period for materials supplied by other libraries is 31 days, unless the other libraries have stipulated a shorter lending period.

Number of borrowed materials

Of the materials below, the maximum lending material is:

DVD/VHS movies are divided into several categories due to rules on copyright.
You may only borrow 4 pcs at a time from each category.

Materials for use at the libraries

Newspapers and the latest number of magazines are not among the lending material. This also goes for certain reference books that may only be used in the library.

Reservations

If what you want is not available it can be reserved – with certain limitations:

• Materials for adults marked ”Lynlån” cannot be reserved.
• You may make 2 reservations for playstation-games and pc-games, at the most.
• Only 1 reservation at a time for language bags (”sprogkufferter”/point-and-play.
• DVD/VHS movies are divided into several categories due to rules on copyright.
  Only 4 reservations from each category can be made at a time.

There are no limitations on reservations of all other materials.

Renewals

Materials marked ”Lynlån” cannot be renewed.
If we supply materials from other libraries outside the Elsinor Municipality, we must follow their rules on lending and renewals.
